Trat Beach

The
Trat Province is home to fifty-two islands. Each island has a unique beauty, keeping visitors to this area entertained for many visits over many years. In addition to the many islands, the beaches in Trat are exquisite and often overlooked.
Location
Highway 318 follows the beach in Trat, passes Ban Had Lek, and finally ends at the Cambodian border. The stretch of road is eighty-nine kilometers.

Highlights
Laem Klat: Laem Klat is the first beach you will encounter on Highway 318. This beach, sitting at the end of a peninsula, is wide, clean, and has many areas for swimming.
Had Sai Ngam: Located at kilometer marker 37, Had Sai Ngam is a peaceful beach with many pines trees offering shelter from the midday sun. There is a beautiful, yet rustic bridge to take you across the lagoon.
Had Muk Kaeo: At kilometer marker 42 is Had Muk Kaeo. Had Muk Kaeo is connected to Had Sai Ngam. In addition to pine trees, there are also coconuts to be found here. Like its sister beach, Had Muk Kaeo is very quiet and peaceful. If you can wake up, the sunrises from here are not to be missed.
Had Ban Crtuen.Kilometer marker 59 is home to Had Ban Chuen. This beach is best known for its restaurants, but few realize that this stretch of beach has the cleanest sand in the area.
Ban Had Lek: On the border of Cambodia at the end of Highway 318 is Ban Had Lek. People come here before passing into our neighboring country or taking advantage of the duty-free shopping.
