Thung Nang Phaya Phetchabun

Location
Thung Nang Phaya is located in the Thung Salaeng Luang National Park in Amphoe Wang Tong, Amphoe Nakhon Thai, and Amphoe Campson. The National Park Office is in Amphoe Campson, only thirty-two kilometers from Khao Kho. In addition to traditional accommodations, camping is available in the park.

Thung Nang Phaya: Thung Nang Phaya is located in the Nong Mae Na Ranger Unit. Fourteen kilometers away is the National Park Office. On your way, you will pass grass fields and lush forests. There are many viewpoints in the area where you can see different sections of Khao Kho. There are many activities to enjoy while on vacation here. Among the most popular pursuits are bird watching and mountain biking. There are well-marked trails allowing cyclists to ride between the two parks. Thung Nang Phaya is particularly beautiful during the winter. After the rains, the grass fields turn a brilliant emerald green. At the beginning of the new year, the fields become vast expanses of spun gold.

Kaeng Wang Nam Yen: Before arriving in Thung Nang Phaya, you will reach a path on the left-hand side of the road leading to the Kaeng Wang Nam Yen Ranger Unit. After diving down this path for seven kilometers, you will reach the National Park Office. This path is suitable for both cars and bicycles. The landscape here is lush, being divided into to two by the Khek River. The water here is clean and crystal clean, encouraging swimming and fishing.

How to Get There
From Khao Kho, drive pass the Si Dit Waterfall on Highway 2325 toward the Nong Mae Na Ranger Unit. You wii! need to drive down a fourteen kilometers road to reach the National Park Office of Thung Salaeng Luang National Park.
